Christmas Lite Show in Comstock Park, MI 4500 West River Drive NW, Comstock Park, MI 49321
For many families, driving through the Christmas Lite Show at LMCU Ballpark has been an annual holiday tradition, and for good reason. This drive-thru display is the largest animated display of its kind in Michigan, nearly two miles long. This year marks the 25th year of the Christmas Lite Show and just like in years past, you can expect the same holiday magic. With over a million lights, you’ll be able to enjoy all the wonders of this display from the comfort of your car. The Lite Show runs nightly from 5:30 pm to 9:30/10:00 pm until January 2 and tickets are $30 per vehicle.
Everett’s Gardens in Byron Center, MI 240 84th Street SE, Byron Center, MI 49315
Another holiday drive-thru light display is at Everett’s Gardens. While this may not be the largest drive-thru display in Michigan, it is one worth checking out. Throughout your drive, you’ll see thousands of holiday lights and when you arrive at the end of the display, you’ll be greeted with a sea of Christmas trees. Everett’s Gardens also has a warm fire with s’mores for your whole family to enjoy. You can stop by this display any Friday and Saturday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm through December 17 and the cost is $5 per car.
Spring Lake Sparkle in Spring Lake, MI Downtown Spring Lake, MI 49456
If you’re looking to bring your family to an area full of holiday excitement, Spring Lake Sparkle should be added to your family’s holiday outing list. In downtown Spring Lake, buildings and trees are lit up with more than 400,000 lights and displays. In addition to looking at the spectacular displays, your family can take advantage of meet and greets with Santa, festive food and drinks, and countless photo-ops. Taking in the sights of downtown Spring Lake is free and you can check out their holiday light displays through the first weekend in January.
Ada Village Winter Wonderland in Ada, MI Ada Village, MI 49301
Like Spring Lake, MI, Ada Village also has a town holiday light display. When you stop by Ada Village’s Winter Wonderland you are greeted with more than 25,000 lights and more than 30 pine trees. To help you take in all of the light displays, Ada Village has compiled a walking map, so you ensure you don’t miss any sights! Seeing these festive light displays with your family is free of charge and you can stop by to see Ada’s sights through January 1.
Winter Wonderland at Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners, MI 6865 W Hickory Road, Hickory Corner, MI 49060
There is no shortage of holiday light displays to take in at Gilmore Car Museum’s Winter Wonderland. For the holiday season, both a drive-thru and a walking path of holiday light displays have been set up. The walking portion of the light display takes place inside the Car Museum, so if you have never seen the museum before, you will get to experience it for the first time with it being decorated for the holidays. You can stop by this Winter Wonderland Thursday through Sunday, through December 30, from 5:00 pm – 9:0 pm. The cost is $20 for adults 18 and up and $12 for children ages 5-17 (but you can save money on both tickets if you purchase ahead of time online). If you have a child under 5, then they are free!
