Soil Testing

AAA Lawn Care offers a soil testing service for our customers. Soil testing allows you to determine just how healthy your soil is and if there any deficiencies or toxins that need to be addressed. This is especially important if you intent to garden or grow crops as damaged soil can damage anything growing in it and yield poor results. Healthy soil is also the foundation for a healthy looking yard and getting testing done yearly and having it apart of your lawn care program is highly recommended. While soil sampling can be done any time of the year, the best time to get testing done is 1-2 months before planting.

HOW Soil Testing WORKS

Soil testing is a relatively quick process starting with the AAA team gathering a small sample from your yard or garden. The soil is then returned to the lab to fully examine and test the soil with final results typically taking 2 weeks to come back from the lab. We analyze the results and make recommendations to the customer. While the vast majority of lawns in West Michigan have little soil deficiencies, a soil test is a very helpful tool in determining the cause of underperforming lawns.
